Time flies when you're having fun!

The saying is true… This weekend will be 10 years that Craig and I have been together. I seriously cannot believe it! Where has the time gone?

Craig and I met on the 4th of July in 1998. We didn’t actually get together until the next year… 4th of July 1999 and have been inseparable ever since.

We have been through a lot over the last 10 years, but nothing makes me happier than being with the man I love everyday! I feel so lucky to have found such a great guy to spend the rest of my days with.

We have always been and will always be there for each other through thick and thin… No matter what! Sounds CHEESY but it’s true!

I know that it’s not our “real” anniversary (we were married in November 2006), but I feel 10 years deserves some recognition.

HAPPY 10 YEARS TO US! MANY MORE TO COME =)

Another great weekend came to an end!

These weekends just seem to be flying by anymore. We had a good one tho! Friday night we had dinner at Craig’s parents’ house. They wanted to have an “Abalone Feed”. That it was! Tons of abalone, corn, broc salad, etc… There was a lot of food! It was nice relaxing with the fam. Craig’s grandparents were still in town so we got to spend a little more time with them before they hit the road back home.

We also got to take some family pics… check ‘em out!

Saturday Craig worked… as usual! I got to meet up with my girl Deidra and have lunch at On the Boarder. I had never been there. I am happy with anywhere that serves CHIPS AND SALSA! I ordered the fish tacos and OMG they were so good. I opted for the grilled version but I can imagine how good the beer batter fried ones are!

Sunday Craig had to work some more (such a hard working man!) so I laid out in the backyard for a bit and Spenser (my brother) called to see if I wanted to see The Hangover. I figured it had to be as funny as everyone says since it was his 3rd time seeing it! Spenser and I have pretty similar taste in movies and a similar sense of humor, so I knew I had to see the movie. I am glad I did… it was freakin’ hilarious! If you haven’t seen it… you need to =)

I came home after the movie and continued my laying out. I got some color and a little tipsy… Don’t judge… it SO was hot and BORING out there by myself! The temp reached about 112!!! No wonder I was so “thirsty” =)~

This week I will be getting ready for the 4th of July (my favorite holiday and our 10 year anniversary!!!) by making a veggie tray, JELL-O SHOOTERS and maybe some guacamole. We will be spending the day at my aunts house with her family and the entire neighborhood! BLOCK PARTY BABY!

I have Bunko Wednesday night and Craig will probably be… yep you guessed it… working!

This week is going to fly by and hopefully we will be going swimming on Friday and Craig can actually RELAX a little. YAY for the 3 day holiday weekend!!!!!

Ft Bragg Rocked!

We are back from a quick little weekend getaway to Fort Bragg, CA to celebrate Father's Day and Eddie's 55th birthday!

WE had such an awesome time. It was so nice to camp without dirt bikes and quads constantly ripping by! The sound of the waves crashing on the beach never get old!

I had to work 1/2 day on Friday, so Craig and I arrived a little later than everyone else. It was a little windy and cold. We hung out for awhile and visited with Craig's grandparents who are visiting from Henderson, NV. I think its been over a year since we saw them last so it was nice catching up!

We also got to visit with our new nephew AUSTIN! Talk about the cutest baby ever! All the kid does is sleeps! He's such a good baby. When he is awake he is quiet and mellow! Just the way I like em!

Saturday night we had a big dinner celebration with everyone for "Big Ed's" birthday. It was potluck style, so we got to try all kinds of good food. The "main event" (I would say) was the abalone that Matt and Jennifer dove for early that morning. (Yes… Jennifer is already diving 3 weeks after giving birth to a 10lb 12oz baby… naturally I might add!!!) Talk about fresh! I had never tried it before. They covered it in bread crumbs and fried it! What's not to like? It was SO good!

Sunday rolled around and we celebrated Father's Day by "letting" the fathers cook everyone breakfast! Hey… they really enjoy it! We sat around and all the "dads" opened their gifts. Good times.

Craig and I had to get back home for work today so we left around noon. Everyone else is staying until Wednesday. I was totally bummed to leave. We had an awesome time and I can't get enough of the beach!

I hope everyone had as good of a time as I did!

Not much going on!

Sorry posting has been slow on this blog! We haven't really had much going on… which I am loving! Since the birth of our new nephew, Austin,  nothing else has happened.

As far as I know Austin is doing great… adjusting to home life as well as Mommy and the rest of the family! I haven't seen him in a week or two. How sad! Luckily I will get to see him next weekend for sure. I can't wait to hold the little guy!

We are going to be heading to Fort Bragg with Craig's parents, grandparents, Craig's sister and her family and her in-laws as well. We will be celebrating Eddie's (Craig's dad) birthday and Father's day. Should be a good time. I am pretty excited to get out of town. I am sure our summer will start filling up shortly so I will be enjoying the downtime as much as I can until then!

Craig has been busy working which is great for the wallet but I feel like I haven't seen him as much. That's fine.. I still get to see him every night but he has been working 7 days a week! No biggie… it could be worse. I could have to go days without seeing him. I am a happy girl!

That's all for now! If anything new and exciting goes down… I will let you know! =)
