=) She's very happy and excite! LOL She gets so mad when I don't stick the food in her mouth fast enough. She even gets mad when she doesn't do it fast enough!

Our baby is 7 months old!
Yep, 7 months already! I love love love watching her grow up, learn new things and become her own person, but it’s still so sad that it happens so fast!
With Hailey hitting 7 months we also have a lot of milestones to talk about!
Over the last 2-3 weeks Hailey has progressed like crazy.
She is now:

Hailey also had another first yesterday... her first TORNADO warning and tornadoes touching down REALLY close to where we live... SEE

Sitting on her own!
Very well, I might add
Got not one but TWO teeth.
You can see if you look REALLY close! She didn't want me taking a picture inside her mouth apparently!
Finally rolled over from front to back! We have been waiting for this one for awhile!
(I have video but stupid Blogger isn't letting me upload it. Grrrrr!)
Hailey is also starting to learn how to use her "words". I realize she doesn't know exactly what she is saying or what it means but she says "dada" (like CRAZY), finally said "mama" yesterday and was saying "babababababababa", but since figuring out "dada" the "babababababa" has gone out the window. Daddies get all the glory =) LOL

Austin turns 2!
This past weekend we celebrated Austin’s 2nd birthday. I can’t believe he’s already 2. When people say “time flies” they aren’t lying. It seems like he was just born and we were all at the hospital in shock that not only was he 10lbs 12oz but Jennifer gave birth to him with no drugs! =) Bragging rights!

Hailey is Sitting!
We’ve hit a milestone… Hailey is sitting up all by herself! =) My big girl.
I can’t lie, I am so happy, but I’m also so sad. I love watching her grow and learn new things but before I know it she won’t be my LITTLE BABY anymore. I feel like from this point on she’s going to develop so fast…. Ahhhhhhhhhh! I wish she could just stay my little girl forever. I guess it’s life and it has to happen… even if it does break my heart a little, it’s a good thing! =)
She still refuses to roll over! LOL I bet money she will crawl or walk before that happens... she hates laying on the floor. I really try to work w/ her but my little Diva just won't have it. I will keep you posted =)
I feel another milestone coming on soon... she's teething BIGTIME! Hopefully once we get a tooth popping out she will let me snap a pic!
And since I never got around to it before now...
Hailey is 6 months old!
She tipped the scale at a whopping 20.6lbs and 28" long at her 6 month appointment!
She's growing up so fast... she's starting to wave... it's at herself, backwards, but she does it when you say "HI" to her. She also babbles and screams but I think (and I could be pushing it here) she might actually be picking up on the word "hi" or "hey". No "dada" or "mama" yet. =( I am sure those will be soon!
She's been doing well (with the exception of this week... I think her belly isn't feeling good) on eating her "solids". She likes sweet potatoes, squash, applesauce (with other fruits mixed in), etc. She HATES peaches, prunes, apricots (also mixed with other fruits) bananas (by themselves) and peas. I hope its a phase! =) We will keep working on it!

My First Mother's Day
Could not have been ANY better.
Our day started off EARLY =) as usual. Hailey is an early riser, like her mama! Craig got up with her so I could shower and get myself ready. Our first "celebration" was breakfast... just the 3 of us. It was so good... and all mommies were given a complimentary mimosa! Nothing better than a free mimosa w/ breakfast!
We had a few errands to run and then we made it home and hung out for a little while.
Later we headed up to Craig's parents' house for an early-ish dinner!
We had so much fun. Craigs parents were there, obviously! My mom and brother came and Jennifer, Matt, Austin and Kaitlyn too! (DUH!)
I got a few really cute pictures, but I am bummed... I totally spaced on getting one of all the moms together!

A little adventure
Last weekend Hailey and I went on a little "adventure" to Ellis Lake. The name Ellis Lake can be deceiving... It sounds like it would be a beautiful, tranquil lake but in reality, it's pretty gross. I wish it was cleaner because it could be SO nice.
Hailey and I left for our adventure just after breakfast... about 6:55am. The earlier the better around here!
It was actually really beautiful first thing in the morning.
