Larsen Family Reunion - Moonshine - 2012
Last weekend we had the pleasure of camping out for 4 days at the Larsen family reunion which took place at the beautiful Moonshine Campground... the best part was that it was only about an hour from home... for us =)
Larsen is Criag's mom's maiden name. This reunion consisted of Craig's Grandpa Larsen (Where it all began ;), all of his children, all of their children and all of OUR children! We had about 40-45 people total.
It's been very, VERY hot here and this campground isn't very high up in altitude, so it wasn't much cooler where we were. Luckily we were camped right on the Yuba River and it was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect setting for hanging out in the water all day.
We took full advantage. We swam, ate, drank and caught up w/ family the entire time!

American Beauty
I took Hailey on a walk a few weeks ago and I took a picture of this adorable Americana fence decoration at a house I have walked past about a million times before. A photographer friend of mine told me what a great picture it was and how she wanted to meet up and take her twins' picture there and she wanted to try to do some of Hailey too, if I was interested. Which, of course I am =)
Well, we set a date and it just didn't work out... we still want to meet up, but in the mean time, I went ahead and took Hailey to "the spot" on my own. I'm pretty sure it would have worked out better with #1 my photographer friend taking the picture and #2 one of us trying to get her to LOOK and SMILE!
I did the best I could and this is the picture I got... I am in love =)

Upcoming posts!
As you know, I don't have much time to blog these days... I am trying, I really am, it's just not happening as often as I would like.
I do have a couple of posts coming up SOON... we recently had an amazing family reunion at the river with Craig's mom's side of the family... I didn't do the best job of getting anyone to pose for pictures, but I will show you what I've got.
AND
As always, I have a bunch of iPhone pics to post. It's so easy to grab my phone and snap pictures, I need to post those ones more. The candids are the best anyway, in my opinion =) Not to mention I can hardly ever get Hailey to look and smile at my camera as opposed to my phone... I don't know what the deal is with that, but I will take what I can get =)
