Let's talk resolutions

It's that time of year again!

I would like to start by wishing anyone and everyone who reads this blog a VERY Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, safe new year!

That being said, I would like to reveal my 2010 New Years Resolutions... ready for this?

1. Make a major effort not to dwell on people/things I cannot change. I am the only one who can make ME happy.


2. Do my best to let the people who are important to me in life know how much I appreciate them.

3. Have a more positive attitude/outlook on life. I have felt somewhat “jaded” this year. I find that it’s making me bitter and have less faith in people. I want to change that.

4. Run the San Francisco Half Marathon in JULY! Possibly run the Nike Half Marathon OR FULL MARATHON (if I can take it that far) in October! I’m just shooting for the half’s tho! I need to feel a sense of accomplishment and I think this is the perfect way.

5. Turn 30! I’ve got that one in the bag =) April’s coming quick! My fingers are crossed for my tropical vacay birthday present! Please pray! =)

6. Talk the Craig into knocking me up! Yes… you read that right.

That's all for now! I am patiently waiting to spend Christmas Eve... which is TOMORROW... with our families and maybe some friends! Only my favorite night of the year!

Next week it's off to Pismo Beach to ring in the new year and break in our Rzr the right way... in the sand. We are going to party at the beach w/ the best of friends! =)

Well hello there!

I just realized I haven't posted here since our anniversary! It's been WAY too long!

We have definitely been keeping busy... especially with CHRISTMAS right around the corner! Haven't quite gotten ALL of the shopping done but we are almost there! I should say I am almost there! LOL Craig's not much of a shopper. I will pick up his slack!!!!

We attempted a little photo shoot w/ the "kids" last night... LOL here's the outcome.

Miss Daisy had just come in from outside. That would be rain on her pretty little face.

They are horrible at sitting still for pictures! This was a miracle... LOL

Our tree looks so bare... we need more presents! =)

3 years ago today...

WE GOT MARRIED!!!!

Yep... 3 years ago today Craig and I were married in South Lake Tahoe, CA... yes we were on the California side!

I am happy to say that I married the BEST guy a girl could ask for! He may not be the most emotional, in touch w/ his feelings GIRLY man but I couldn't ask for anything better. He lets me be myself and never thinks twice about it. He loves and appreciates me as I do him. We make eachother happy and that's all you need in life!

In other news, Craig celebrated his 32nd birthday last Sunday… November 8th. We celebrated by purchasing one of these babies… FOR CRAIG

Craig and I have wanted a side by side "toy" for awhile and we are finally the proud new owners!

It's just money, right???

Sunday (Craig's "actual birthday" LOL) we took the Rzr out and broke it in! Good times… All I have to say is that I like it WAY better than the quad! It's like driving a car and Craig might disagree but I DO know how to drive that! LOL

Of course Craig had to JUMP it right off the bat! LOL

Even Eddie and Donna went for a spin... with Craig's instructions!

Sunday night we celebrated Craig's birthday with dinner in Loma Rica w/ the family.

Jennifer and Kaitlyn got to take it for a SPIN and loved it. I think Kaitlyn wants mommy and daddy to get her one too! LOL

Aside from all of that I have to say WOW… I can't believe the holidays are upon us again… already! We just celebrated Halloween and Thanksgiving is literally right around the corner! Things are about to get even busier!!! I love Thanksgiving and Christmas… It's the rest of winter I dread! LOL After New Years I will be anxiously awaiting SPRING. It's gonna be a long wait!

Long time no talk...

Well hello there!


We are back from our annual Halloween trip to Sand Mountain.How was it, you ask? Eh… could have been better but we still had a great time! I will HAVE to post pics later (as I do not have them with me).

Let's see… Spenser Deidra and Landon stayed with us, there was a man in a blow up hula girl outfit w/ a HUGE rack and get this… CRAIG was a Hooter's girl. He only stayed in his "costume" for a few minutes but YOU KNOW I snagged some good pics!
 

Drumroll please....

I finally have a "CJ Original" piece of furniture in my home! I am so HAPPY I can't even stand it!

I had Bunco at my house last night and people were amazed that my husband built this! They thought I bought it somewhere. I told them I would pass along his number! LOL a little shameless advertisement!

It looks amazing and it's not even done. I don't know how long before I get the rest of it (I am not complaining... I will take what I can get! Seriously!) but there will be sides w/ book shelving so it will be an actual "entertainment center" and not just TV stand.

I just LOVE IT!

Dreams really do come true!

Once again I am totally neglecting this blog! I am a horrible blogger! LOL… as you may know I spend most of my "time" here!


We have been super busy lately but not really much to blog about… the usual fun stuff like hanging out w/ friends, bbq-ing while we can since summer is coming to an end… SOME organizing in the house… stuff like that.

The most exciting thing that has happened for me lately is… drum roll please…

CRAIG IS FINALLY BUILDING ME AN ENTERTAINMENT CENTER!

You are not seeing things… I actually typed that he IS building something FOR ME! YAY! You don't know how freaking ecstatic I am about this! I have been begging for YEARS… literally YEARS for this and its finally happening! Dreams really do come true! LOL

It's not done yet but here are some pictures of the progress! Keep in mind that we will be adding "feet" and a dark mocha stain. It's going to be GORGEOUS!

LOL... I know I have been pretty much MIA over on this blog! SORRY! We have been busy and I have way more pics to upload over here than I normally do on the other one!

Last you heard we were getting ready to leave for PISMO for Labor Day weekend.

We left on a Thursday evening after work and arrived around midnight.

The weekend was great... We had our friends Jason and Jamie staying with us, Jamie's sister and bro in law brought their trailer, Craig's parents (they even brought Kaitlyn, our niece, with them!), Brandon and Veronica, Tatum and Steve and some friends of theirs, Patty and Jose and some of their family (LOL have a little story about them but I will refrain from telling it here! HAHA) and last but not least Craig's parents' friends Tracy and Marcia.

Pismo is definately  my FAVORITE place to camp. I love anywhere I get to wake up to the beach right outside my window.

There were lots of LATE nights. I think most nights we went to bed around 3 am! A new record for me! LOL I am normally in bed early these days. Something about the full moon  I guess!

I have been neglecting my Johnson & Johnson blog again! Bad blogger!


We have been up to a lot and nothing all at the same time. We are busy hanging out w/ friends and family but really nothing too exciting going on. Just having a great time… summer is coming to and end and we have enjoyed every bit of it!

This weekend is LABOR DAY WEEKEND and we are heading to Pismo Beach!

Pismo is by far my favorite place to camp. I love the beach. There's something about it that just relaxes me and soothes the soul =) I definitely need it these days! With all my family DRAMA I could use a little R&R =)
